Network Administrator/Webmaster - Compensation: 15-22/hr bsd. on exp in San Antonio, Colorado

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for aspects of Network Administration including servers, desktop systems, communications hardware/software and office systems. In addition, Webmaster implements web pages, maintains content and oversees day-to-day management of the company website, and assures quality and filing integrity of web pages.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Network administration (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems including e-mail web server, internet access, office systems and applications support).
Supports server, network and desktop hardware, software and applications.
Performs technology needs analysis.
Rolls out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources.
Plans, implements, and supports the network and computing infrastructure plan.
Manages small to medium sized projects according to agreed upon budgets and schedules.
Assists with technology planning through ongoing research.
Webmaster responsible for the design of company web pages, including graphics, animation and functionality.
To develop web page infrastructure and application related to pages with more advanced graphics and features.
To monitor web server and site technical performance.
Implementing search engine optimization strategies.
Promoting client websites online to increase prominence within their web community where possible.
Work closely with the Operations Director to set and ensure marketing campaigns achieve budgeted commercial targets
Circulate efficient and accurate reporting, detailing results of each web marketing campaign and possible improvement
Advise Director on the improvement, results, competition and new direction in technology to assist with marketing of the brand.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Diploma in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business Administration; supplemented with one or more courses in current technology.
Experience:
Considerable (5 years) and current experience as a network administrator on a medium sized network of servers, desktop systems, communications devices using current technologies and maintaining company websites.
Skills:
Demonstrated knowledge of Windows servers and desktop products.
Demonstrated knowledge of setting up remote access for users.
Demonstrated ability to administer a 50+ node network including firewalls.
Demonstrated ability to support networked printers and photocopiers.
Demonstrated working knowledge of current communications devices and protocols, server and desktop technologies.
Orientation and training of new staff.
Ability to negotiate hardware/software service and technical support contracts with vendors.
Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
Highly developed verbal and written communications.
Proven Website Management experience.
You will have strong web design skills which will include the ability to edit HTML and write CGI scripts.
A thorough knowledge of design and office software: Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash and Microsoft Office. Animation, modeling and 3D experience is a plus.
A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in a small team.
